It was two years ago on this day that the King of Pop passed away, so of course I am going to pay respects. Michael Jackson is probably the most influential musical figure in the world, and it’s a shame we lost him so soon. Since his passing, I always blast his songs when they come on the radio, and I feel the country is giving him more respect…the respect he deserves.
Whether you think MJ was innocent or guilt, his influence is undeniable. He paved the path of black artists on mainstream stations, and without the music industry would be drastically different.
